During 2019, special attention was paid to the continuous improvement of the technical level of electromechanical maintenance of aggregates and equipment in all 3 hydropower plants of the Drin River cascade, harmonizing the planned periodic maintenance with the maintenance based on equipment conditions (Condition based maintenance) ), identified and analyzed by online monitoring systems. The main objective of Maintenance during 2019, has been to keep ready the generating capacities, through timely diagnosis, accompanied by effective maintenance services of aggregates, effective investments in important electro-mechanical equipment and systems of aggregates, preventing breakdowns and defects or minimize their number, as well as keep in constant readiness of the equipment of the works of discharge of the full.
Among these investments of nature, whether maintenance / existing or renovating / investing, the most important are: Supply-installation of AVR system in HEC Fierza, upgrade of the firmware of 4 online monitoring sets BMT of power transformers in HEC Koman, supply system installation automatic detection and fire extinguishing with CO2 for aggregate generators in Fierze HPP, Repair of power transformer 5600KVA, 10/35 KV of N / Station 10/35 KV in HEC Vau Dejës, electromechanical rehabilitation of crane 250/30 / 5Ton in Vaun of Deja, the beginning of the implementation of the rehabilitation project with technological renewal of the supporting bearings in HEC Vau i Dejës.
