Meteorological reports predict that in the coming days rain is expected as well as rising temperatures which may be accompanied by snowmelt. For this reason, today met the Technical Secretary of the Special Commission for the Treatment of Fulings to continue taking measures to cope with the inflows and keep to a minimum the discharges in the area below Shkodra.
Currently the natural flows in the cascade are 880 m3 / s.
The production and discharge ports are:
* Fierzë HPP- 462 m3 / s from production, 0 m3 / s discharges from the gates.
* Koman HPP- 690 m3 / s from production, 0 m3 / s discharges from gates.
* Vau Dejë HPP- 437 m3 / s from production, / discharges from the gates.
The levels in the lakes of the Drini Cascade are:
* Fierzë HPP 291.45 mmnd, (quota max. 296 mmnd)
* Koman HPP 169.99 mmnd, (quota max. 175.5 mmnd)
* Vau i Dejës HPP 73.09 mmnd (quota max. 76 mmnd)
Production in all three HPPs is:
* Fierzë HPP 7,233 MWh (daily)
* Koman HPP13,733 MWh (daily)
* Vau i Dejës HPP 4,512 MWh (daily)
The total production meets all the demand for electricity consumption for the country.
