KESH continues to work normally in the management of flows in the Drin River cascade. All generating capacities are currently engaged, with a daily production of 29,000 MWH (per day) meeting all the electricity needs of the final consumer.
The level of the lakes is presented as follows:
• Fierzë HPP, 288.76 mmnd (from 296 mmnd maximum level of lake)
• HPP Koman, 170.70 m (from 176 mmnd maximum level of lake)
• HPP Vau Dejës, 72.14 m (from 76 mmnd maximum level lake).
Based on the data of the last hours of the Hydro-Meteorological Report, the discharge levels in the 3 Hydro Power Plants are:
• HPP Fierzë, discharges from 400m3 / s have been completely stopped.
• HPP Koman, discharges from 500m3 / s have been completely stopped.
• HPP Vau Dejës, discharges from 700 m3 / sec have been reduced to 300 m3 / s.
KESH will continue to closely monitor the hydropower situation of the cascade and will continue to take all necessary measures to manage flows and maintain optimal levels, ensuring full safety of dams and avoiding the social environmental impact in residential areas.
