Throughout today, the Administrator of KESH, Mr. Benet Beci together with the staff of KESH, has closely monitored the situation in the Vau i Dejes Hydropower Plant and the HPPs of the Drin River cascade, ensuring that the Corporation is ready to complete and has taken all necessary measures for the management of inflows in the following days in this HPP.
Work is still ongoing at HPP Vau i Dejës where together with the management staff and in coordination with the Technical Secretariat of the Special Commission for the Treatment of Plots, and pursuant to the Regulation for the discharge of Plots, the situation of cascading flows is being managed hour by hour. the situation remains in full control and the level of the lakes is presented as follows:
•Fierza 281.48 m
•Koman 173.73 m
•Vau i Dejës 75.56 m
Production continues to be at full capacity at HPP Koman and HPP Vau i Dejës and discharges are being carried out only at one of the discharge ports of HPP Vau i Dejës. Currently discharges from this gate reach 700m3 / s while in HPP Koman 200m3 / s, this amount, with negligible impact on the water level in the lower part of the Cascade, thus making it possible to cope with the situation of increased rainfall, expected until Monday.
