By Decision No. 5233\/1 dated 12.06.2019, the Shareholders Assembly approved the “General Rules of Organization of the Commercial Activity” for KESh sh.a. This document is expected to render company’s commercial activity in the energy market into another dimension, at first considering the accomplishment of public service obligations and the protection of the public interest, in compliance with the provisions of the Law “On Electricity Sector”, as amended.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new regulation intends to commercialize Kesh\u2019s sh.a activity in terms of electricity supply, primarly within the country and then in the regional market, as well as in developing electronic trading procedures by enhancing transparency, reducing time and guaranteeing competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The license for electricity supply of Kesh sh.a, in addition to that of production and trading, is a new tool that will assure the participation of Kesh sha in the Albanian electricity market, promote as well, the creation of a new energy trading philosophy, by offering new products to the market, promote optimization of company\u2019s energetic and economic portfolio and provide ongoing support ( “driving force”) towards gradual market liberalization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
